I live now in Bel Air, Maryland – I moved here about 20 years ago. I grow up in Bulgaria but also I have lived couple years in Greece and couple in Connecticut. My point is that I am not so familiar with the history of the area. I know most of the todays buildings and stories behind but not so much some old stories – like I recently I found out that was a huge fire 60 years ago which burned most of the town centre – it was big set back for the town.
But for the project I am considering couple things.
- Longwood gardens – this place is amazing but the story behind the creation of it is very inspiring – a French family started it when they came here – escaping the French revolution.

2. Near my town is huge Amish population – I visit them often – I buy from them fruit and vegetables and admire the simple life-style they have – they have so little and yet they seem so happy – we can learn a lot from them, especially today the way we live our lives – buying more and more stuff and not thinking that this is destroying our planet.

3. The Greek church – Saint Demetrios
I visit the church sometimes but what amazes me are the efforts the Greek people put to make their kids to follow the Greek traditions. Living in another country and try to raise the kids follow different customs and learn different language is very hard. They do so may events and activities for the kids on order to achieve this.

4. Historic Jerusalem Mill Village – this is couple old buildings next to each other – build 1770 and preserved till today. This place used to be center of the life years ago for the area and today the government took possession of it (the last owner had no relatives and after he pass way he left it to the town) and transformed it as a nice park.

Create one image to represent both initial story concepts, using a variety of methods, which must be original and not sourced from the Internet or a third party.
I end up choosing the stories for the Amish and the Longwood Gardens. Only I am going to change up little the second one – is going to be about the legacy of Pierce du Pont – he was the one that created the Longwood Gardens.
